We wanted to know two important questions: Who do they feel is to blame for body shaming (something that has been spoken about a lot about in recent months), and what is the definition of feminism?
Orange Is the New Black‘s Danielle Brooks inspired us with her answer about body shaming, revealing how important it is to love yourself.
She said, “I think it starts with yourself, you gotta find the confidence within yourself first because people can say whatever they want, but you have to be confident within yourself to know that you’re beautiful just the way that you are. And let the haters do what they do.”

Mad Men‘s Teyonah Parris weighed in, saying, “I think it’s everybody. I think everyone is responsible, whether it’s body weight, skin color, culture shaming, all of that, I think we’re all responsible in some way and contribute to that nonsense.”
We also caught up with Dancing With the Star‘s Witney Carson, who said she thinks the “media is really hard on women’s bodies.”
“Feminist” is a word that is getting a lot of attention in the media as of late, and there are many different interpretations of what the word means, so we wanted to know how celebs define the term “feminism” in just one sentence.
