The #PotterItForward hashtag has created some of the most magical moments online, as old fans of the fantasy series sneak notes into their favourite Potter books in libraries and bookstores all across the world. The notes describe how the books have changed their lives, in the hope of encouraging and inspiring new readers of the series.
The hashtag was started by Harry Potter fan site MuggleNet and the idea has already proven to be a huge success — it’s also a great reminder of just how much we loved these novels and how they touched our own lives.
Fans have revealed how the books were their solace during their darkest days.
