Total Divas‘ Paige reminds fans that she is far from perfect (EXCLUSIVE)

The youngest Divas Champion ever, Paige has accomplished quite a bit during her time in the WWE. Between the champion title, a recent engagement and a mentorship role for NXT wrestlers, it’s hard to believe that she’s just 23. But the Total Divas star insists that in spite of her many accomplishments, she’s still a crazy and fun-loving 20-something gal.

Paige sticks out in the WWE and on Total Divas — and not simply because of her dark eye makeup and nails. The Diva is incredibly accomplished for a young woman of 23, but she sometimes finds this very difficult to believe. In an exclusive interview with SheKnows, Paige admitted that it’s crazy to think how much she’s achieved already. That being said, while she’s one of the youngest women in the WWE, she’s also one of the most experienced, and thus, the most deserving of a mentorship role. When she’s training others, Paige says her mentality is that she “wants to help people” because she’s “so passionate about wrestling… that’s my world.”

Paige’s early success in wrestling was, in part, prompted by the great training she received as a young girl. She grew up in a wrestling family, but the Total Divas star says she was never pressured to join the family business. In fact, her dad told her, “Whatever you want to do, I’ll always be happy for you and I’ll always support you.” Instead of being forced into the ring, Paige was able to discover her love of wrestling on her own. She “instantly loved it” the moment she entered the ring at age 13, and she hasn’t backed down since.

Fans of Total Divas sometimes forget that Paige is only 23 years old. The Diva may have a career fans can only dream of, but in other areas of her life, she prefers to relax and have a good time. For example, she recently got engaged, but she’s in no hurry to tie the knot. Unfortunately, while she was never pressured into wrestling, she has dealt with a ton of pressure surrounding her future nuptials. Her fellow Divas are incredibly excited, but Paige thinks they’re getting a bit ahead of themselves. “I’m being bombarded with questions and pressure right now… if you’re engaged, you can be engaged for a year or two, or five years. It’s not something I want to rush into because marriage is definitely a big deal — and it makes me very nervous.”

Instead of spending all of her time planning the details of her wedding, Paige would much rather focus on living her life to the fullest. Sometimes, that means getting into a bit of trouble. Viewers already saw the star chastised on Total Divas after she was involved in a motorcycle accident. This is certainly not the last time she’ll cause mischief; she promises that fans will “come across more of that” during future episodes of Total Divas. Although she is not able to share details just yet, she admits that she’s “a complete shit” at times and does “a lot of things that are very, very crappy.”
