Drake has another Toronto investment. But this time it’s a hot new restaurant called Frings, in collaboration with one of Toronto’s most acclaimed chefs, Susur Lee.

According to CP24, the official launch of the restaurant, which is located on King Street West near Spadina Avenue, took place on Monday night. And Drake took to Instagram to share a picture of himself and Angelo Ferraro, along with Chef Lee and his two sons, Kai and Levi Bent-Lee.

But instead of rave reviews about the food — which we can only imagine was mouth-watering — everyone is chattering about the celebrity guests and the star-studded party. Among the guests were tennis champ (and Drake’s rumoured love interest) Serena Williams and Jada Pinkett Smith and her teenage son, Jaden Smith.

So did anyone actually eat anything on Monday night?
#FringsToronto may be the best restaurant opening I've been to. I've barely eaten but #Drake is DJ'ing & #JadenSmith is dancing like a boss.

This opening was clearly not normal.
Last night wasn't a normal "restaurant opening" – #Frings w/ @Drake , @serenawilliams and a completely packed house pic.twitter.com/Rsf2ShGYKZ

Jaden Smith got a lot of attention, but mainly because everyone thought it was past his bedtime.

There is some serious FOMO happening too.

But there are definitely some people who would love to dine at Drake and Chef Lee’s new pad.
I'd travel to Toronto just to eat in Drake's new restaurant, imagine how good that food would be
