Gigi Hadid has a much-needed positive message for all the haters out there.
Hadid was shamed online after walking the runway for Versace in Milan over the weekend. And the comments have our jaws hitting the floor.

Things like, “She has mens [sic] arms,” “Please lose 15-20 pounds,” “She’s fat for a mannequin” and “bad posture.”

In fact, Hadid revealed that she got so much hate from her appearance in the show that the negativity started getting to her. And so she wrote a message to her followers.

Hopefully this serves as a wake-up call to the bullies out there and encourages people, as Hadid wrote, to “talk about things that inspire them over the things that bring others down.”

And whether Hadid has a different body type than other runway models or not really doesn’t seem to matter to Versace, who was obviously more than impressed with her stunning runway appearance.

Clearly, she killed it on the runway, looked fabulous doing it and has every reason to be proud of herself.

“Yes, I have boobs. I have abs, I have a butt, I have thighs, but I’m not asking for special treatment,” Hadid explained. “I’m fitting into sample sizes. Your mean comments don’t make me want to change my body, they don’t make me want to say no to the designers that ask me to be in their shows, and they definitely don’t change the designers [sic] opinions of me. If they want me in their show, I’m in it. If they don’t, I’m not. That’s just how it is and how it will be. If you don’t like it, don’t follow me, don’t watch me, cause [sic] I’m not going anywhere. If I didn’t have the body I do, I wouldn’t have the career I do. I love that I can be sexy. I’m proud of it.”
From my point of view, the only people hating are those who are too jealous of Hadid to do anything else. Let’s see their bikini pics, shall we?
