George and Amal Clooney’s nesting phase is apparently causing their neighborhood to crumble into a nightmare.
That might sound dramatic until you hear what residents told Radar Online about the couple’s home renovation at their $15 million mansion estate in the Berkshire village of Sonning near Reading, England.

One neighbor explained, “I used to be able to enjoy a short walk along the river and through the village twice a day. Now I am reluctant to take my dog out because I have no idea what I will be faced with.
“I have lived here for 20 years and never seen anything like this,” the same woman added. “There is a total lack of respect and disregard for us other residents and there is a really bad negative impact on our village.”
Another resident echoed those sentiments. “It is total chaos outside the house — a full-scale building site. There’s been a big water carrier going back and forth for the last few days that has caused some havoc.”

According to photos and sources, the couple often has a 60-person team working tirelessly to finish the construction on an end-of-the-year deadline. And the construction is so bad that it is causing major traffic jams up and down the small village road. The lorries also reportedly leave such a mess of mud and debris in the streets that workers have been sent out to clean it up in an attempt to not further disrupt the neighbors, WENN reports.
And it’s unclear what exactly the Hollywood A-list couple is doing with the home, since it reportedly is already decked out with a gym, steam room, library, cellar and boathouse, along with nine residential rooms, all tucked behind ivy-covered walls.

But the apparent barrage of trucks and diggers clearly has neighbors fed up with the renovation.
It’s also important to note that the couple isn’t even living at the house and has most likely been hiring people remotely to handle the construction.
Meanwhile, the Clooneys are most likely celebrating their one-year anniversary, which was just yesterday, and they’re also facing a host of baby rumors.
