It appears Brooks Ayers wants to finally and officially set the record straight about all these faking cancer allegations.
And he isn’t letting anyone else speak for him. He is letting everyone hear the story straight from the horse’s mouth. In a move that shocked even his Housewives ex, Vicki Gunvalson, Ayers, according to Radar Online, sat down with Andy Cohen to film his side of the story for the reunion show in a secret bombshell interview.
The interview will air during the reunion show for The Real Housewives of Orange County and an insider told the tabloid site, “Bravo paid for the plane ticket and a five-star hotel. Andy interviewed Brooks about his cancer diagnosis and all of the questions surrounding it.”

The questions surrounding it have been hurtled, repeatedly, from fellow Housewives cast members at both Ayers and his ex, Gunvalson, and include everything from saying he is completely faking his cancer diagnosis to them alleging they only care to make sure he is getting the best care.
The rumors and allegations have plagued this season of RHOC which, naturally, led Ayers to want to steer clear of the reunion altogether. The source said, “Vicki was completely blindsided by Brooks’ decision to do the interview with Andy. Complicating matters, Brooks isn’t telling Vicki anything about the interview. She has no idea what was said, or if he threw her under the bus!”
The source also said, “Brooks didn’t want to be at the reunion because he just didn’t want to deal with the other ladies on the show, especially Meghan Edmonds.” Well, that certainly is understandable.

Edmonds has been a major factor in the season’s drama surrounding Ayers’ fake cancer claims, but she certainly isn’t alone in her accusations. In addition to her and the other ladies of the show, Gunvalson’s own children don’t even believe their mom’s ex has cancer. The source also said, “Vicki thinks it’s absolutely ridiculous that her kids doubt that Brooks has cancer. But there has never been any proof provided that Brooks does have it. When her kids asked him to provide proof, Brooks just scoffed at their demands and has refused to take it.”
Now that the pair has split, though, Gunvalson is thinking it might all be for the best. The source claims she “doesn’t want to look like a fool for dating Brooks,” claiming that “the silver lining of the situation is Vicki truly seeing Brooks as being an opportunist, and hopefully won’t get back together with him.”
Hopefully Ayers opens up about his diagnosis and some of the air can be cleared. Either way, the reunion show is now sure to be interesting.
