It has been a tough year for Leah Messer, but the Teen Mom 2 star isn’t letting it get in the way of her plans for the future.
In an MTV Facebook Q&A Wednesday night, Messer took on all those pesky drug addiction rumors and also revealed where she sees her family in the future.

She explained that the reason she didn’t confront her ex, Corey Simms, about his drug accusations against her is because she was trying to avoid drama. Rather, Messer took the court-ordered drug test and passed with flying colors.
Simms’ current wife, Miranda, also fueled the negative rumors about Messer, who spent some time in rehab for depression and anxiety in June 2015.
“No matter what I [did] or said, their minds were set on their own opinions,” Messer said of Simms and Miranda.

She added, “Treatment facilities aren’t just for addicts.”
Despite seeking the help she needed, Messer said that she still isn’t 100 percent and is planning on continuing to work hard on her mental health in the future for the sake of her three daughters. She has two twin girls, Ali and Aleeah, 5, with Simms and Adalynn, 2, with her other ex, Jeremy Calvert.
“I am happy,” Messer wrote, “and doing everything to be the best version of myself possible.”
And though she’s rumored to be dating drill specialist T.R. Dues, “babies are not even on my mind,” Messer said. And neither is finding love, which she says will happen “when the time is right.”
Instead, Messer is focusing on herself and being a mom.

“I am following through with therapy and outpatient and taking care of my girls,” she said. She has also put her plans for higher education on hold right now because she says of her current life, “My girls need me right now.”
Messer will also appear on Teen Mom 2‘s Season 6 reunion special that airs tonight at 9/8c on MTV.
