The Bachelor and The Bachelorette shows have a bad track record when it comes to romance, and if the latest report about Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth is true, then that bad rep is not going away anytime soon.

A new report from In Touch Magazine, via Celeb Dirty Laundry, claims that Bristowe and Booth are not even sleeping in the same bed anymore, but they are still really enjoying cashing in on their stardom. And an insider has revealed the (former) couple have just been putting on a show for the cameras.
“They were so lovey-dovey. But, when the cameras turned off, they immediately stopped holding hands. Kaitlyn jumped on her phone while Shawn sat there checking out the beautiful models. They acted like total strangers,” the insider told the publication of couple’s appearance during New York Fashion Week.

However, things were reportedly not always fake between the pair, and there was a time when they were really in love — until Booth’s jealousy became too much for Bristowe.
“Kaitlyn and Shawn really did love each other at first. But, he was constantly on her about who she was texting and talking to,” another insider said. “Shawn never showed this side of himself during the show. Kaitlyn eventually realized that she didn’t want to be with someone like that.”
