With all the celebrity breakups and divorces happening this year, it’s a pleasant change of pace to discover there may be a hot new celeb couple in town. At least, that’s what everyone thought when romance rumors recently started to swirl about Kate Hudson and Nick Jonas.

The unlikely pair were spotted together at Disney World last month, and the rumor mills immediately started to turn. But it turns out things between the Bride Wars actress and Jonas are not at all serious.
“It was just a fling,” a source close to Hudson told People magazine. “It’s definitely not anything serious.”
“They are both single and seeing other people too. Kate’s mostly focusing on her boys and doesn’t want a serious relationship right now,” the source added.

So, if you were hoping there was going to be a “Konas” or “Nate” — or whatever celebrity mashup name this pair would have had — you will be sadly mistaken.
Although, the good news is that Jonas is still up for grabs, and he told People earlier this week that he is “definitely dating and hanging out.” He continued, “I am single, but I’m hanging out with people and just getting to know people and enjoying seeing what’s out there.”
