What PLL‘s new sneak peek taught me about Season 6B (VIDEO)

Friday’s been a big day for Pretty Little Liars fans. Not only was the premiere date (Jan. 12, 2016) revealed for Season 6B, but a Nov. 24 behind-the-scenes special was also announced at New York Comic Con. If that’s not enough, fans can now watch the first four minutes from the January premiere. How exciting is that?

Thanks to BuzzFeed, this Pretty Little Liars Season 6B sneak peek is now here for all die-hard fans to digest and dissect. Let the theorizing commence! As you can watch below, the premiere opens with echoes of the past within the hallways of Rosewood High School. Soon enough, more details are revealed about Emily, Hanna, Aria, Spencer and Alison. With that said, here are nine things I took away from the teaser.

1. Alison is a teacher at Rosewood

Image: ABC Family

As previously shown and revealed, Alison is now a teacher at Rosewood. Who would’ve thought that Ali would be teaching teenagers in the same town and same high school where so many bad things happened to Ali and her friends? So, what kind of teacher do you think Ali is?

2. Spencer is dabbling in politics

Image: ABC Family

Based on the fact that Spencer is in Washington D.C., I can only assume she is getting into the political world. If any of the Liars is meant for politics, it’s Spencer.

3. Aria is now an author, just like Ezra

Image: ABC Family

Well, will you look at that. Aria appears to be both an author and in the publishing world. If that isn’t enough, Ezra also released a book titled Ostinato, which means “a constantly recurring melodic fragment,” according to Dictionary.com. Oh, and how good does Ezra look in his bio photo? Yeah, those five years did him good.

4. Emily is bartending somewhere tropical

Image: ABC Family

Well, Emily is clearly living somewhere warm and is a bartender. Let’s just hope she is happy serving drinks for a living. If not, she’s probably getting a good tan every day, and who can complain about that?

5. Hanna is good with little kids and lives in New York

Image: ABC Family

No, that is not Hanna’s daughter. However, she is really good with her and will clearly make a great mom. Based on the piece of mail shown in the clip, Hanna now lives in New York, where I imagine she is living it up in the fashion world.

6. Alison’s future husband is a doctor

Image: ABC Family

That is Dr. Rollins (Huw Collins), who appears to be the doctor helping with Charlotte’s potential release. At the end of the Season 6A, Alison wrote “Mrs. Rollins” on her classroom chalkboard, which means this is her future hubby. I say “future,” because there is no wedding ring on Ali’s hand. Plus, they don’t really act like a couple.

7. Spencer might not really be in D.C.

Image: ABC Family

Is Spencer really in D.C.? OK, of course she is, but that backdrop is horrible. Who’s with me?

8. Charlotte could be released

Image: ABC Family

Ali and Dr. Rollins are trying to get Charlotte released, which is why Ali calls on Emily, Spencer, Aria and Hanna in the first place. She’s hoping they’ll aid Charlotte’s case.

9. The Liars will always be connected

Image: ABC Family

No matter where they end up, what they do, etc., the five Liars will always be connected, even if it’s by something they might want to forget.

Now, watch the first four minutes for yourself.

Pretty Little Liars returns Jan. 12, 2016.
