We’re beginning to think that Andy Cohen is slipping some truth serum into the cocktails he serves on Watch What Happens Live, because the host certainly has a way of getting to the bottom of things.
After years of defending her relationship with Brooks Ayers tooth and nail, The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Vicki Gunvalson finally admitted to Cohen during Monday’s episode of WWHL that she and Ayers weren’t ever really meant to be.
“There [were] a lot of things,” Gunvalson replied, after Cohen asked her what the deciding factors were when she stuck the fork in her relationship with Ayers. “I just think that the conflict with Briana, and him and I, and him being from the South — he really wanted to go back to the South — and I just think the stress of the show, and he’s sick. And at the end of the day, it just didn’t work anymore.”

But Gunvalson didn’t totally dis the relationship with her former love. “Long-term, we were not gonna work,” she said, adding, “Short-term, it was amazing.”
Maybe Gunvalson was willing to get a little more candid about Ayers after he completely threw her for a loop by sitting down with Cohen for a secret bombshell interview that will air with the RHOC reunion.

“Vicki was completely blindsided by Brooks‘ decision to do the interview with Andy. Complicating matters, Brooks isn’t telling Vicki anything about the interview. She has no idea what was said, or if he threw her under the bus!” an insider told Radar Online.
Another not-so-surprising revelation from this week’s Watch What Happens Live: Gunvalson was not feeling the love from her fellow Housewives after she and Ayers ended their relationship.

“No,” Gunvalson bluntly answered, after a caller asked if any of the women had been there for her during her breakup. “No. They still have their mother and they still have their partner. So, I’ve had two huge losses this year, and they’re not there for me.”
