Are Farrah Abraham’s Teen Mom costars jealous of the brand she’s built?

It’s no secret that Farrah Abraham hasn’t exactly been welcomed with open arms by the rest of her Teen Mom OG castmates.

Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell have talked some major trash and have threatened to boycott the show, and Bookout even went so far as to say that she needed to protect her daughter from Abraham’s antics.

Now, Abraham’s own mother, Debra Danielsen, is calling BS on the other girls’ hatred and chalking it up to good old-fashioned jealousy.

I’m just disappointed,” Danielsen told OK! magazine of Bookout, Portwood and Lowell’s threat to walk off the show if production allowed Abraham to join. “We were all supposed to be like family and I was just disappointed because they seemed to live one way and have their hypocritical attitude and jealousy towards Farrah.”

Danielsen also added that she felt the other castmates were making judgments against Farrah, when they had been behaving in the same manner.

“If you live in a glass house, you don’t be throwing rocks at other people,” she said. “Maci and Catelynn live in glass houses.”

But before we laugh off Danielsen’s jealousy claim as a seemingly ridiculous statement, we kind of have to take into consideration that Abraham has actually done an awful lot more than the other OGs. Between her porn career, erotic novel, sex toy line, appearance on Big Brother and other MTV specials, she’s not just known as being a Teen Mom star anymore.

She’s definitely gone on to do more than most of the rest of the cast, so it’s not totally far-fetched for Danielsen to assume everyone else is jealous. Could it really be possible that the Teen Mom stars have a little bit of an envy issue going on?

This is not the first time Danielsen has rushed to Abraham’s defense. When Abraham was recently kicked off Big Brother, her mom bashed producers for making a huge mistake and said that her daughter was the best thing about the show — despite her disgusting behavior, which included threatening to kill all the other cast members.

“People tune into a show because they want to see entertainment, they want to see intelligence, they want to see drama and I think Farrah brought all that to the table,” Danielsen said.

What do you think? Are the Teen Mom OG stars just jealous of Abraham or do they have legitimate reasons to dislike her?
