Khloé Kardashian breaks her silence on Lamar Odom, calls out brothel owner

Khloé Kardashian has released a statement regarding Lamar Odom, but it’s not what you’d expect.

Rather than speak to fans, Kardashian is calling out the owner of the Love Ranch brothel where Odom was found unconscious on Tuesday after overdosing on a suspected mix of cocaine and herbal Viagra.

Representatives for Kardashian released a statement to Us Weekly explaining, “We reached out to Dennis [Hof], politely asking him to respect Lamar’s (and Khloé’s) privacy during this difficult time and refrain from talking to the press. This is a very painful situation, as I know you are aware, and the idea that anyone would use it to seek publicly is really sad.”

Unfortunately for the Kardashians, Hof’s reaction was to tell them to “go to hell.” The rest of his statement to NBC News:

“I said, ‘Excuse me, this is my place of business, and I know what happened, and Khloé Kardashian is not going to speak for me. And would you do me a favor? Tell Khloé Kardashian to go to hell.”

He has already made appearances on Nancy Grace and has since spoken to Wendy Williams and TMZ.

“I’m the one protecting my business and telling the truth about it,” Hof also said during an interview with CBS News.

Of course, Hof might have a point if the unsubstantiated rumors that filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians is continuing at the hospital where Odom is unconscious.

If Hof talking to the media represents a “sad” way to seek publicity, than wouldn’t this whole ordeal appearing on the Kardashians’ reality TV show be just as bad?

Hopefully, all parties involved will take a step back from the spotlight during this difficult time and respect the fact that a man’s life is at stake rather than their Hollywood reputations.

Though the Kardashian family hasn’t commented on their plans for Keeping Up with the Kardashians given this health crisis, they did say that they wouldn’t be updating their apps in a joint statement released Thursday night on their websites.

“As a family, we’re decided to hold off on publishing content across our apps while we continue to support and pray for Lamar,” the statement read. “Thank you for your kindness and understanding during this difficult time.”

Do you think Hof has the right to talk to the media about Odom’s stay at the Love Ranch?
