According to Radar Online, court documents revealed that Andrews, who is an ESPN reporter and host of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, is seeking $75 million in retribution after she was secretly videotaped nude while staying at a Tennessee hotel in 2011.
The suit is filed against the Marriott Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. The man who filmed Andrews without her knowledge was Michael Barrett, who admitted to purposefully renting at least three rooms next to Andrews and shooting two videos of her while she was nude, without her knowledge. Barrett was also accused of posting the videos online and trying to sell them to TMZ.

He was sentenced to 27 months in prison, but Andrews said at the time of his sentencing that she hoped “he never sees the light of day,” according to The Huffington Post.
She referred to him multiple times as a “sexual predator” and said she is “scared to stay in hotels and my house.”
Andrews’ lawsuit against the Marriott stems from the fact that Barrett spoke with the hotel to find out which room Andrews was renting so he could obtain the room next to her. He would then alter her hotel room by removing the peephole so he could film her undressing.

Andrews believes the Marriott was wrong to give out her room number. The $75 million would be compensation for damages.
The lawsuit stated, “The unknowing and unwelcome filming of [Andrews] while she was changing and the further dissemination of unauthorized, private videos of [Andrews] in the hotel rooms has caused and continues to cause her great emotional distress and embarrassment.”
