Looks like Blake Shelton is fed up with the mudslinging and is allegedly fighting back against the accusations that he is headed to rehab.
According to TMZ, Shelton has filed a suit against In Touch’s parent company, Bauer Media, in Los Angeles County Superior Court for its cover stories claiming he has “hit rock bottom” and for the headline, “Rehab for Blake.”
He is allegedly trying to set the record straight and he is trying to make the magazine pay up a healthy sum for the alleged slandering. Shelton wants at least $2 million to right the wrongs he claims have been done to him.

In addition to the rehab allegations, he is including the publication’s allegations of infidelity in his suit, too — calling BS on things such as him being “caught” by his now-ex, Miranda Lambert, with “a bunch of naked women.”
This suit comes out at the same time we are learning both Shelton and Lambert will be performing at the upcoming 2015 CMAs. The exes are both slated to perform and will most likely meet at some point during the night, which will be their first public performance at the same event since their split at the end of the summer.

Their divorce was quick and sudden, but Shelton claims that the pair remains amicable and has said via social media they are “buddies” and that they are “going to be cool about this.” Which, of course, throws further doubt on the tabloid magazine’s claims that Shelton has “hit rock bottom” and is headed for rehab.
