RHOC‘s Brooks Ayers makes rude comments about ex Vicki Gunvalson’s daughter

Brooks Ayers is opening up about the reasons behind his and fellow The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Vicki Gunvalson’s failed relationship.

And some of his comments might surprise you.

The latest season of The Real Housewives of Orange County has been full of rumors and accusations about Ayers faking his most recent battle with cancer before Gunvalson and Ayers called it quits. Now the businessman is opening up about how he and Gunvalson attended couple’s therapy before their split — and how it was actually the counseling that opened his eyes to the fact that the relationship he was trying to save was not meant to be.

He said during an interview with E! News, “We began seeing, of all things, a reality TV couple’s counselor who made the decision that we probably weren’t going to be forever.”

Let’s just start with the fact that such a type of counselor exists and move on from there, OK?

He continued, “And when I made that statement in the counseling session in July it was like a world of… it was like the piano was lifted off my back, if you will.”

But Ayers spoke about other strains on the embattled couple’s relationship — most notably, Gunvalson’s daughter, Briana Culberson. He claims she never gave him a chance because she had such bad “daddy issues.”

“I think Briana had significant issues as a child with some quote, unquote, daddy issues. And that’s become quite evident through a lot of things that transpired.”

Ouch. It was well-documented throughout the show that Culberson had major issues with Ayers, and Gunvalson has in the past mentioned the troubles with the father of her daughter, which include substance abuse, verbal abuse and infidelity. We will have to see what else Ayers says about Culberson and Gunvalson when we get to hear the rest of the interview, which will air in two parts, the first of which will run Monday night.
