Khloé Kardashian has broken her silence on Lamar Odom‘s health crisis for the first time publicly.
Kardashian took to her website Tuesday morning to thank family, friends and, most of all, God.

“This past week has been incredible [sic] difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar,” Kardashian wrote. “I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made. You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loves ones, it would have been difficult to endure. Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!! XOXO, Khloé.”
Odom was transferred from Las Vegas to Los Angeles Monday night, and Kardashian was seen leaving the hospital to be with him.

She reportedly hasn’t left his side.
“She goes everywhere with him. If Lamar leaves the room for testing, she follows,” a source previously revealed to E! News.
Odom’s recovery has continued on a positive path since he woke from his coma on Friday, following an overdose at the Love Ranch brothel in Las Vegas.
He is now able to breath on his own, speak in full sentences and can swallow and eat food without assistance.
Of course, the road to recovery is going to be a long one. TMZ is reporting that full rehabilitation will take months and, though a CT scan came back clean, that doesn’t rule out cognitive damage, which is still unknown.

Odom is also currently being treated for aspiration pneumonia.
But despite the long recovery ahead, Kardashian plans to be with him every step of the way. She has even reportedly put her relationship with James Harden on hold to focus on her estranged husband.
