Rosie O’Donnell is finally able to put one major personal issue behind her: her divorce from Michelle Rounds.
O’Donnell has finally reached a divorce settlement with Rounds, after a battle that saw some major mud being slung around.
“It’s done. We’ve settled. There’s peace in the Middle East,” O’Donnell told reporters waiting outside the Manhattan Supreme Court Wednesday. “We’re both very happy about the outcome. Thank you, everyone.”
Rounds left the courtroom about 10 minutes later smiling. “I feel great,” she told reporters.

At one point, things got so bad that Rounds had to be hospitalized after a reported suicide attempt, so her happy frame of mind is a relief.
While the financial details of the settlement have not been released, Rounds’ lawyer, William London, did say the pair agreed to joint legal custody of their daughter, Dakota.
“We’re happy with everything. It’s over,” London said to the gathered press.

O’Donnell and Rounds wed in 2012 after meeting in a coffee shop. The TV star filed for divorce in February 2014. She was previously married to Kelli Carpenter.
The past few months have been brutal for O’Donnell. After another contentious exit from The View and Rounds’ suicide attempt, she also suffered the death of her father in August and the complete breakdown of her relationship with her daughter, Chelsea.
At least this is one issue O’Donnell can finally put to bed. Now she can focus on her new, rumored relationship with actress and reality star Tatum O’Neal, who only revealed she was dating women in May 2015.
