You’d think it would be scary enough to date the daughter of a super-buff action movie star like Diesel. But the celeb dad is taking things a step further and making sure his 7-year-old daughter, Hania Riley Sinclair, is scary in her own right.

And what better way to do that than to recruit one of the scariest, most badass women on Earth to help out?

In a recent interview with WENN, Diesel revealed that his daughter has been training in judo with UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey, whom he met on the set of Furious 7.

First of all, I feel sorry for anyone that has to [date my daughter],” Diesel shared. “I wouldn’t want that on my worst enemy because I’m just that kind of dad. I’ve been thinking about this since the day I cut the umbilical cord, and because of that, I made a decision early on that I was going to do everything in my power to empower her to handle it herself.”

He continued, “Because of her ‘auntie’ Ronda Rousey, she is now an orange belt with stripes in judo. I’m dealing with it early. I’m creating a beast and I want her to be able to say ‘No means no.'”

We love this attitude that Diesel has about making his daughter as strong and independent as she possibly can be. And we can’t think of anyone better to help teach her than Rousey.

A recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon showed just how close Diesel and his daughter are. He told an adorable story about how she texts him encouragement.

“My 7-year-old daughter has an iPhone now,” Diesel said on the show. “And she just texted me this, if I can read this to you. ‘Hi, Daddy, I love you so much. I am so proud of you. I miss you so much. I believe in you, that you will make an awesome movie. I love you so much, I miss you so much. Love, Similche.”
