Things have probably been better in The Real Housewives of New York‘s Heather Thomson’s life, especially since she is currently dealing with a bit of a legal headache.

Thomson’s business, Yummie by Heather Thomson, is reportedly planning to fire manager of the company Eric Rothfeld over claims that he barred filming of the show in the company’s offices, a decision that, according to Us Weekly, negatively impacted her company’s revenue.
“Our lawyers have asked me not to talk about the case until it is resolved,” Thomson told Us Weekly in a statement. “All we can hope for is a speedy result so I can get back to the business of running this wonderful brand.”

Thomson may be suing Rothfeld for allegedly hurting her brand, but he is not going to be easy to replace, especially since he is part owner of Thomson’s company — which focuses on creating shapewear and athletic wear that fits and flatters.
Thomson also spoke about the lawsuit with Entertainment Tonight, referring to it as “an unfortunate distraction.”
“I’m hoping for a positive result in a very short time so I can get back to focusing on what’s important: the business of my ever-expanding Yummie brand,” she added.
A motions hearing is set in the case for Oct. 30.

Thomson previously revealed that she was leaving The Real Housewives of New York to concentrate on her business, but we don’t think she had dealing with lawsuits in mind when she made those comments.
