It seems as if there might be more drama on the Duggar sex scandal front.
According to Recovering Grace, the Institute in Basic Life Principles, the Christian organization founded by Bill Gothard, is coming under legal fire again for accusations of negligence and sexual misconduct. Gothard is a very close friend of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, and the Duggars have been a part of the IBLP organization openly and for a long time.
Recovering Grace says its function is “helping people whose lives have been impacted by the teachings of Bill Gothard, the Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP),” confirmed the lawsuit.
The website said, “the lawsuit (which we have reviewed in its entirety) was filed by five women who allege they experienced ‘sexual abuse, sexual harassment and inappropriate/unauthorized touching’ while participants, interns, or employees of IBLP.”

The lawsuit was reportedly filed in Illinois’ DuPage County Circuit Court this week, and the women are reportedly seeking $50,000 in damages. According to Radar Online, a hearing has been set for January 19, 2016.
Gothard, 80, resigned from the organization last year amid his own sexual harassment scandal. According to both Radar Online and Recovering Grace, Gothard was accused of sexually harassing 35 women and teens. IBLP is also, reportedly, the organization where Josh Duggar went as a teen for counseling and training after he was accused of molesting several of his sisters and other girls.

According to Recovering Grace, the lawsuit alleges IBLP was, “negligent over the past several decades by failing to properly address alleged sexual abuse and harassment by IBLP employees and that IBLP failed to properly report known or suspected abuse to the proper authorities.”
It seems these scandals are far from over.
