Khloé Kardashian reveals what’s really happening with her and Lamar Odom

All eyes have been on Lamar Odom and Khloé Kardashian following Odom’s health crisis, and now Kardashian is opening up about the ordeal.

Kardashian and Odom were estranged at the time of his health scare (following his visit to a brothel), and when Kardashian heard the news, she reacted quickly.

“All I knew was I had to get there,” Kardashian told People magazine. “I had to get to him and make sure he was okay. I hate that he was in that situation. I wouldn’t want anybody in that situation, especially someone I love and care about.”

But she also made a rather surprising confession; while rumors are running wild that Odom and Kardashian are giving their love another shot, Kardashian has revealed that rekindling their relationship is not top priority right now.

“There are too many other important things, too many medical things. It’s not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now,” she explained.

“I loved him always, and I will always love him,” she continued. “I don’t believe love is fickle. I believe when you love someone, you are allowed to love from afar. You don’t have to be with that person in order to love him.”

Kardashian realizes that Odom’s health problems are far from over and that there will be a long road to recovery.

“The fact that he woke up was definitely a sigh of relief for everybody,” Kardashian told the publication. “Every hour is different. It goes up and it goes down but he’s awake. He’s alive and that’s all I wanted, was for him to be okay.”

But despite the challenges that Odom will face in the future, he will have the unwavering support of his wife.

“There is a very long road ahead of [Lamar],” she said. “He has to walk that road by himself, and, most importantly, he has to want to walk that road. I will be there supporting him every step of the way.”
