Caitlyn Jenner celebrated her 66th birthday on Wednesday and members of her family took to Instagram to pay tribute to her, including her stepdaughter Kim Kardashian.

Kardashian uploaded a selfie of herself and Jenner, which she captioned, “Happy Birthday Caitlyn! Are you 66 or is Caitlyn 1? lol That was the debate at our bday lunch yesterday! Have the best day ever filled with lots of love & laughs! You have shown me what it’s truly like to live an authentic life without caring what the world would think! I love you!”
Some fans love the picture, with comments including “cute,” “caitlyn looks good,” and “happy bday cait.” However, there was an overwhelming number of negative comments on the post — which is truly disappointing.

Some of the comments are far too vile to repeat, but below are some of the more tame ones.
“you need call him daddy and not caitlyn [sic] but Dad have breasts now How sad for your family,” fehimntombolo wrote.
cathybos02 shared her opinion, writing, “You support what is defiled and condemned by The Almighty! I though [sic] you are guite [sic] intelligent woman to differencing write [sic] from wrong!”
And stall0ff simply wrote, “Sick family.”

But the backlash was not only directed at Jenner because Kardashian also was attacked for her appearance. One such comment about her looks came from audreyannaxp, who wrote, “Stop messing with ur face Kim. You gonna be the new Michael Jackson.”
