Even Khloé Kardashian loses her cool with Rob and his weight issues

There has been a lot of chatter about Khloé Kardashian in the media lately, and her recent comments about her brother, Rob Kardashian, may come as a bit of a surprise.

Khloé has always remained in Rob’s corner, despite his troubles with weight gain and depression (which have resulted in him shying away from the public eye), but during a new interview with People, she described his reclusive ways as “infuriating.”

“Rob is such a great guy,” Khloé told the magazine. “He’s charming, charismatic, everything. That’s what’s so infuriating. I’m like, ‘Where is your will to live life? Let’s be around people!'”

Despite the fact that Khloé really wants her brother to get out into the world and live life to its fullest, she is still his greatest supporter (he also lives with her). But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have her moments where she snaps at him.

“I’ve been working on my patience,” she explained to the mag. “I’ve been really trying. But I have my moments and I do snap. I’ve offered to get a chef, I’m like, ‘What’s your excuse?’ But it’s not just that. I can’t win life for Rob. I have to wait until [he’s] ready to do it for himself.”

It’s no secret that Khloé’s estranged husband, Lamar Odom, and Rob were particularly close (this was clearly documented during Keeping Up With the Kardashians), and Khloé reveals that their separation really took its toll on Rob.

“My dad died when Rob was 16,” she explains. “Rob doesn’t have a father figure in his life. When [our stepdad] Bruce [now Caitlyn Jenner] was around, he was great, but he was going through his own things that none of us understood at the time. Lamar was [Rob’s father figure]. Once Lamar left – and it’s not Lamar’s fault at all – I think Rob didn’t know where to go. He was like, ‘I don’t have guidance anymore.'”

But will Rob be returning to the public eye in the near future? Khloé’s comments suggest he still has a long way to go.

“It’s sad, because he’s only wasting his life more and more,” she said. “But he has to figure it out for himself. And he has so many people who want to help him.”
