Meghan Edmonds reacts to Vicki Gunvalson’s RHOC reunion dis

Meghan Edmonds is taking to the Bravo blog to defend Tamra Judge against Vicki Gunvalson‘s low blows at the RHOC reunion.

Edmonds slammed Gunvalson in the post because Gunvalson joked about Judge’s emotional custody battle with her ex, Simon Barney, behind Judge’s back.

Judge has been in the midst of a tough custody battle with Barney over their teenage daughter Sidney, who has been estranged from her mother for two years now. Judge claims that Barney is responsible for the ill will her daughter feels toward her, though Sidney insists that she is acting of her own free will when deciding she wants nothing to do with Judge.

Judge’s heated family battle was definitely a focus on the The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion special this week. Gunvalson seemed to support Judge in her emotional efforts to reconnect with her daughter, but then it was revealed that behind Judge’s back, she had made some jokes about the custody battle at Judge’s expense.

In the post, Edmonds explained, “My heart also aches for Tamra. I can’t imagine the pain she must have felt when she found out that her supposed good friend, Vicki, made such horrid comments regarding her custody and fitness as mother.”

Edmonds added, “Vicki said that her custody comment was said ‘in jest,’ but I don’t think that the word ‘jest’ can apply to that comment. I believe ‘caustic cynicism’ would be a more appropriate description to explain the depth of its maliciousness intent — don’t you agree?”

Gunvalson has a strained relationship with her daughter, Briana Culberson, who was also present on the reunion special and claimed that Gunvalson’s now ex, Brooks Ayers, hit on her while she was pregnant. Not only did Ayers hit on Culberson, according to her claims, but her mother also didn’t believe her accusations when she brought it up to her.
