In recent weeks, many celebs have raised awareness for shelter dogs, and The Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco is joining the pack.

On Tuesday, Cuoco uploaded a picture of herself cuddling a fluffy white dog (named Chester) in one hand, while holding up a sign that read, “A Shelter Dog RESCUED This Family.” She captioned the image, “Finally comin [sic] home #chester #adoptdontshop” — but even without the caption, the picture speaks a thousand words.

Fans have reacted to the post with great excitement, praising Cuoco for being awesome and choosing to adopt. Some of the comments include, “You’re awesome,” “You are amazing! Adoption is one of the best ways of giving love,” and “@normancook couldn’t have said it any better. I rescued my current pup, he was my 1st time adopting but he won’t be the last.”

valleygirl479 shared her sweet story about her own pooch, writing, “My rescue, Sadie, was 19 and died last week. She was with me from the time I was 15 yeas [sic] old through my twenties and was the best dog I could ever hope for.”
And she’s not the only one to feel that way about a rescue animal. The_suburban_errorist revealed their rescue dog helped them through a very tough time.
“We have a rescued little Pomeranian, he saved me from a terrible time. True story. Love him to bits,” they shared.

We applaud Cuoco for raising awareness for shelters, and her actions have clearly impressed fans, as evidenced by the overwhelmingly positive comments on the post.
