Khloé Kardashian is hitting the ground running on her new talk show Kocktails with Khloé, despite Lamar Odom‘s health scare this past month.

FYI, the team behind Kocktails with Khloé, released a statement on Wednesday announcing that the eight-episode premiere season will begin airing Jan. 20, 2016.
The show was originally supposed to premiere at the beginning of December. And while FYI did not give a reason for the pushed date, it’s safe to assume that it is due to Kardashian’s preoccupation with Odom’s hospitalization and recovery.
Though Kardashian has headed back to work following Odom’s transfer to Los Angeles, she is still spending a lot of her time by Odom’s bedside.

The talk show is described as having an “intimate home environment” feel.
“It will feature a functional kitchen, dining area and living spaces — but will not include a studio audience,” FYI explained in a statement. “In each episode, celebrity guests — including Khloé’s friends and family — will join her in the kitchen and around the table for a lively dinner party where engaging and relevant conversations will pair with cooking, party games and, of course, Kocktails.”
When the show was announced back in July, Kardashian expressed her excitement over the opportunity.

“Kocktails with Khloé is something I’m extremely proud of and I’m excited to execute it with my amazing partners, Pilgrim and FYI. I’m lucky that I’ve been able to invite fans into my life and home on a weekly basis, and this show will give me an opportunity to continue to do that with new and exciting guests. Being an executive producer allows me the opportunity to create original content, and I can’t wait to show my fans what we have in store on Kocktails with Khloé.”
