In a new video posted to YouTube Wednesday, Jessa Duggar and her husband, Ben Seewald, shared some new details about the baby, including the name they’ve finally settled on. And trust us, you’re never going to guess this name. Seriously.

The extremely unique moniker they’ve chosen for their first baby? Spurgeon Elliot Seewald.

If that name leaves you scratching your head like it did us, allow the Seewalds to explain.

“We are very excited to introduce our little baby boy to the world,” Duggar announces in the video, cradling her new arrival close to her chest. “His nickname has been Quincy since we first found out we were pregnant, and we’ve been working on deciding on a name and we finally figured it out.”

Seewald shares the actual name and then explains, “Charles Spurgeon was a preacher back in the 19th century and he had a big impact on our lives. His writings and sermons and books are still around today, and they continue to impact many, many people.”

He goes on to explain that the middle name, Elliot, is after Jim and Elizabeth Elliot, a pair of missionaries to South America.

So there you have it.

Also, for those who were placing their bets on the potentially enormous size of Baby Spurgeon, we have answers.

“He weighed nine pounds, 11 ounces at birth, and he was 21-1/4 inches long,” Duggar shares, meaning Spurgeon didn’t quite break the Duggar baby size record, but he came pretty darn close.

“He’s a precious little bundle of joy and we’re so blessed to call him ours,” Duggar adds.
