Giada De Laurentiis has found new love after divorcing from husband Todd Thompson. The celebrity chef is reportedly now dating television producer Shane Farley. Here’s what we know about De Laurentiis’ new man.
1. He’s worked with many famous names
Farley has rubbed elbows with many celebrities in his line of work. Throughout his career, he has served as a producer on shows like The Tony Danza Show, The Rachael Ray Show and Big Morning Buzz Live with Nick Lachey.

2. He’s an Emmy winner
As a producer, Farley has earned a total of eight Daytime Emmy nods. He’s won four — one for The Rosie O’Donnell Show, one for The Wayne Brady Show and two for The Rachael Ray Show.
3. He’s a foodie
In case his five-season run as a producer on The Rachael Ray Show aren’t indicative enough of his interest in food, Farley also reportedly once tried to launch a show with De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay back in 2012. Clearly, he’s comfortable with famous chefs.

4. He knows Tyra Banks
Currently, Farley is serving as an executive producer of Tyra Banks’ new lifestyle talk show, FabLife. He appeared on the show’s panel at the Television Critics Association earlier this year, saying, “What drew us to [FabLife] was the fact that you look at most daytime [and it] has lifestyle involved in it. The host brings on an expert. So, just cut out the middleman and make the host the ‘lifestylist,’ the actual expert. We don’t need to waste time introducing someone. They have the knowledge.”
5. He’s technically still married
As E! recently revealed, De Laurentiis’ new man is actually still married, at least on paper. The producer filed for divorce this past March from his wife, Manhattan-based personal trainer Jennifer Giamo, but the two have yet to legally finalize their split.
6. His wife is not happy with his new romance
According to Us Weekly, Giamo has not taken well to the news of De Laurentiis and Farley’s new relationship. “My client is devastated by what she has learned through the tabloids…” her lawyer, Barry S. Guaglardi, told the magazine. “‘Hurtful’ would be a mild characterization.”

7. He and De Laurentiis have some history
Though the two may now be in an official relationship, they’ve actually been friends for several years. They first met when Farley was supposed to executive produce a talk show for her and Bobby Flay. The project never panned out, but she and Farley hit it off. Both were still married at the time, but now that they’ve both gotten divorced (or are in the process of doing so), it seems they’re ready to take their relationship to the next level.
8. He and De Laurentiis are pretty serious
The two reportedly started dating back in August, when they were spotted kissing at a Nick Jonas concert. But though their romantic relationship may be relatively new, it seems it’s pretty serious between the two of them. During a recent appearance on The Wendy Williams Show, De Laurentiis admitted that she’s found love again, saying, “I’m going to say kind of, and I will tell you, this is the first time I’ve actually said that!”
