Bikini pic of Kim Zolciak and her daughters bashed as trashy (PHOTO)

Kim Zolciak‘s bikini pic with her daughters, Brielle and Ariana Biermann, has sparked outrage for encouraging an unhealthy body image.

In the photo, Brielle poses with her arm strategically placed to perk up her boobs, some duck lips and her legs spread in a modelesque pose while Ariana is fully bent over and Zolciak strikes a pose in the background.

And the comments were less about the gratuitous nature of the bikini pic and more about the fact that Zolciak is clearly teaching her teenage daughters about vanity.

Of course, the problem isn’t that Zolciak is rocking a bikini with her daughters. Who cares!

It’s the fact that she’s clearly supporting a “show it all off for the camera” mentality. It’s one thing to choose to post those kinds of pictures on your own time and another to do it in the company of your impressionable teenage daughters.

And if the three were smiling together for a cute bikini pic selfie, fine. But this photo is clearly all about the boobs, which isn’t a very healthy message to send to other teenage girls.

It’s also important to note that rarely can Zolciak and the Biermann girls post a photo these days without getting their fair share of hate. It seems followers of the reality TV family will always find something wrong with what they’re doing or saying. And just because this wouldn’t necessarily be my vote for mother/daughter moment of the year doesn’t mean I know anything about Zolciak as a mother when the cameras aren’t rolling. So, really, who is anyone to judge?

I just hope that Zolciak does take time to instill her daughters with more than selfie skills before they move on to face the big, bad world of harsh criticism on their own.
