Kim Kardashian reveals how Scott Disick’s children are handling the split

The saddest part of the Kourtney Kardashian/Scott Disick split is clearly how it affects their three children.

And Kim Kardashian revealed just how devastating the breakup has been for the little ones during the Season 11 premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians on Sunday, Nov. 15.

Kim explained to Kris Jenner that while she was babysitting the three kids — Mason, Penelope and Reign — Mason opened up to her about Disick.

“Is [my dad] ever coming home? Is he gone for the whole wide world?” Mason reportedly asked Kim.

Kourtney has been keeping the kids separate from their father after their relationship ended when he was caught cheating with his former flame Chloé Bartoli.

Following Lamar Odom’s near-death overdose, Disick also made the decision to check himself into rehab to get help for his drug and alcohol addiction.

Of course, since this premiere was filmed, Jenner took the kids to visit their dad in rehab. Could Kim’s sad tale of Mason’s questions be what led Jenner to make the visit without Kourtney’s knowledge?

Disick is also out of rehab, though a source that spoke with Us Weekly explained that while he is not spending nights at the rehab facility anymore, he is still receiving full treatment during the day.

During the episode, Kourtney also addressed the split during a heart-to-heart with Kim and Jenner.

“I don’t care about anybody,” she said. “I just want to care for my kids… Let’s look on the bright side. Now I have a huge closet, you guys.”

Jenner, meanwhile, took a more serious approach to her next steps in life. “You have the weight of the world on your shoulders, because you’re like a single mom. You know what I mean? But it’s the single mom waiting for her partner to come home. And you don’t need to wait for him to come home anymore. It’s just time to move on and to find your happiness. You need somebody really special in your life.”
