Just days before the release of her highly anticipated new album, 25, Adele is finding herself facing some nasty rumors about how she supposedly treated Beyoncé.

Adele sat down with Zane Lowe for a new interview on the Beats 1 radio show, and Queen B was one of the first things to come up.

“There’s a rumor going around that I turned Beyoncé down, which I would never be so disrespectful as to do. I’d never disrespect her like that,” she said.

She continued, “Obviously, like, Queen B ’til the day I die.”

Phew. That is one fight where we did not want to have to pick a side.

For those who are having trouble waiting for 25 to drop (I’m lookin’ at you, everyone else who’s had “Hello” on repeat for weeks), there’s some good news: Adele at least shared who some of her current fave artists are, so you can listen to those while you wait.

“I love Lana Del Rey. I love her very, very much. I’ve never met her, though, but I just think she, she like stirs my soul,” she said. “I love Alabama Shakes. And I think Brittany [Howard] is, the way I first felt when Etta James, when I first heard her.”
