Ayers may not want to talk about his cancer lies anymore, but no one — including his legal team — is ready to let it go just yet.

According to Life & Style, sources are reporting that Ayers’ team was completely blindsided by his attempts to profit from his cancer treatment documents.
He told them that he wanted to use the story for profit, but he had apparently already gone behind their backs to sell the records.
The documents, which turned out to be total fakes, reportedly raked in approximately $12,000. Ayers presented them as proof that he was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma, which was supposedly treated at City of Hope Hospital in LA.

City of Hope later confirmed that they had never treated or even seen a patient with the name Brooks Ayers. And, following the revelation, Ayers confessed that he had doctored the documents because he claimed he wanted to keep the real story of his cancer private. Ayers continues to insist that he does, in fact, have cancer, but said he will no longer discuss his disease publicly following the exposure of his lies.
Following the reveal of the doctored medical documents, Life & Style reported that his legal team demanded proof of his illness.
A source explained, “He refused and wouldn’t even confirm or deny to them whether he has cancer or ever did.”

His attorney then apparently quit.
And many people have come out to publicly denounce Ayers, including his ex-girlfriend Vicki Gunvalson, who defended Ayers throughout the RHOC season to the detriment of her friendships on the show. She herself confirmed on Twitter that she is no longer in contact with Ayers. She maintains that she was also duped by his cancer story.
