Blake Shelton was Gwen Stefani’s biggest fan at the AMAs (VIDEO)

Gwen Stefani gave an emotional AMAs performance that captivated the audience and definitely got Blake Shelton‘s attention.

Stefani took to the stage wearing a bra and black bottoms with a sheer black mesh dress covering her frame to sing her ballad “Used to Love You.” The song is all about her recent divorce from Gavin Rossdale, her husband of 13 years. In the background of her performance, images from her music video for the song played on the big screen while Stefani clearly became emotional with the meaning behind her words.

Before her performance, Shelton tweeted his support.

The TheVoice coaches have been dating for only a few weeks, after confirming their relationship at the beginning of this month. The two reportedly bonded over their respective divorces this past summer. Shelton split from Miranda Lambert, his wife of four years.

But Stefani definitely seemed to take the biggest hit with her split from Rossdale, who apparently had a three-year affair with the family’s nanny, Mindy Mann, as originally reported by Us Weekly.

Following her performance at the American Music Awards, Shelton continued to support Stefani by retweeting maybe the sweetest message ever for his new gal.

Clearly, these two aren’t shy about showing off their affection for each other.
