Aaron Carter makes bizarre claims about being Michael Jackson’s prodigy

Sometimes people need to know when to walk away from Twitter. That was certainly the case this weekend for Aaron Carter — again.

During his latest rant, which initially started off as a response to trolls body-shaming him, Carter unleashed his frustration on all his followers.

In a now-deleted tweet, he wrote, “The way people talk about my weight is like high school times a million.” He continued, “Yes. I’m skinny now. I’ve been very stressed and going thru [sic] some shit and felt like I needed to explain myself ‘cause so many people are asking me and talking about me being too f***ing skinny.”

He continued to explain that “it’s kinda hard being me” and called the haters out for bullying.

But then, things took a strange turn. He decided it was time to remind his almost 500,000 followers that he was the next Michael Jackson… according to the King of Pop himself.

Fans immediately tried to call his bluff, but Carter confirmed his claims were true.

He said in another since-deleted tweet, “Remember one very important thing, Michael passed down the torch to me. I never had to ask for him to do that.”

In the end, his tweets nearly broke the Internet. People expressed their confusion, disgust and puzzlement, so Carter tried to elaborate — but his execution wasn’t great.

After a failed explanation, Carter pretty much proved he has no idea what it means to “pass the torch.”
