Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani prove their romance is more than rebound

There may be more to this Blake Shelton/Gwen Stefani thing than we thought.

Can anyone blame us for wondering if they were just rebounding? They’re both fresh off their respective divorces. After the long marriages they both had — four years for Shelton and 13 for Stefani — they seem to have jumped into a pretty serious relationship with one another pretty quickly. But this news may change some minds about what’s going on behind the scenes of Hollywood’s hottest new couple.

Even though Shelton and Stefani went their separate ways for Thanksgiving — Shelton went to see family in Oklahoma and Stefani stayed behind in Los Angeles for a photo shoot before taking her sons to Disneyland on Black Friday — they reunited pretty much immediately after the holiday. They were seen driving together first on Sunday and then again Monday morning.

Despite being separated by miles during Thanksgiving, the first major holiday since both their divorces, reports say Shelton and Stefani stayed in close contact. When they’re together, they’ve been packing on the PDA, and during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Stefani accidentally blurted out, “I love you too, Blake!” indicating that they may have already exchanged those three little words.

None of it is concrete evidence, but the events of the last couple of weeks certainly suggest there’s more to Shelton and Stefani as an item than getting over their respective exes.
