RHOBH fans accuse Yolanda Foster of being the next Brooks Ayers

Yolanda Foster‘s Lyme disease is a frequent topic of discussion on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but typically, when the illness is addressed, it is in a sympathetic manner. Now, however, it looks like some of the other Housewives would rather throw shade at Foster than offer support.

The last season of The Real Housewives of Orange County was almost entirely about Brooks Ayers and his fake cancer. Although the cancer mystery added a lot of drama to the show, viewers quickly lost interest. By the time the reunion arrived, people didn’t want to hear anything else about Ayers and his alleged cancer. Unfortunately, fans were forced to sit through not only an entire reunion focused on Ayers, but also a Brooks Tells All special.

Now that RHOBH has returned, Bravo fans are relieved to be watching a Real Housewives show that doesn’t involve endless bickering about whether or not Ayers is sick. Unfortunately, all signs from the RHOBH premiere point to a similar plot device, this time centered on Foster’s Lyme disease. Nobody has really questioned Foster before — she’s a far cry from Ayers, after all — but now, they’re beginning to wonder why she looks so much worse on Instagram than she does in real life. Shouldn’t it be the other way around? Housewives love to doll themselves up for social media, but based on the shade thrown by Foster’s fellow cast members, they suspect that she’s doing the opposite: purposefully making herself look worse in order to garner sympathy.

Twitter users are sick of hearing about Ayers’ cancer, so the last thing they want is an entire season of RHOBH focused on Foster’s illness and whether she’s exaggerating her symptoms. Several shared their fears during tonight’s episode. Highlighted below are just a few of the many tweets from viewers determined to avoid anything that even slightly resembles Ayers’ medical drama.

RHOC‘s focus on Ayers might have been annoying, but it also gave the show a theme and a story arc that was relatively easy to follow. It’s easy to see why the powers that be at Bravo would be eager to apply the same concept to RHOBH. However, viewers are tired of this theme and Foster just doesn’t give off Ayers’ love-to-hate vibe. Hopefully, new sources of drama will continue to emerge as the show moves past its season premiere.

Do you think Yolanda Foster is faking Lyme disease? Could this be a repeat of the Brooks Ayers cancer drama from The Real Housewives of Orange County? Comment and share your opinion below.
