Just because Rob Kardashian chooses to shun the media limelight that the rest of his relatives bathe in doesn’t mean he’s still not close with his famous family.
Everyone assumes that Rob has gone full hermit because he — gasp — doesn’t like to jump in all the selfies that sisters Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie thrive on, but the reality of the situation is that he is still very much part of festivities, despite his lack of media presence.

Case in point: When Rob was missing from the 2015 Kardashian/Jenner Thanksgiving photo op posted by Kylie, fans took note.
“Damn Rob is always missing,” commented one Instagram user, while another lamented, “Robs [sic] never to be found.”

But Kris has taken it upon herself to demystify the situation surrounding Rob’s whereabouts, and while it appears that he has decided to be a lone wolf while everyone else is having a blast, Kris insists that Rob is actually right there alongside everyone else most of the time.

“He lives with Khloé,” Kris said in a recent podcast with Maria Menounos, via Us Weekly. “So he was around, and then went over to a buddy’s house. He’s doing all right. You know, he’s doing his best. He’s not into being on camera as much as the rest of us. But he’s working on himself. He’s going to be OK.”

We’re glad to hear that Rob is working on himself and doing well. It’s also refreshing that he is able to live his life without obsessing over social media — and with all of the Internet hate his siblings deal with on a daily basis, can you really blame him?
