Kristin Cavallari is finally addressing the mysterious case of her missing brother, who seemingly vanished into thin air.
Michael Cavallari went missing the day after Thanksgiving, after his car was found driven off a highway and abandoned in Utah.
Authorities in Grand County, Utah, began searching for Michael after police received a report of a car off the road about five miles south of Interstate 70 and exit 175 at 8 a.m. on Nov. 27. After finding his name on the registration, they were able to trace credit card receipts to a convenience store east of where the car was abandoned. Police pulled tapes and Michael was seen on surveillance footage entering and leaving the store at approximately 3:30 a.m. local time.

Police believe the car, a 2014 Honda Civic that was found running with the airbag deployed and his cell phone and laptop still inside, may have hit a large rock and veered off the road, but after that, the trail grows cold.
Kristin and her husband Jay Cutler have not mentioned a word about the case until today, when she broke her silence on social media — including a photo of the two when they were just tots.

“I appreciate all the concern, thoughts, and prayers that have been extended to me and my family,” she wrote on Instagram. “We remain hopeful and I will share any news that we receive. I have such gratitude for all those that have shared their support.”
Michael went missing just four days after Kristin gave birth to her third child, Saylor.
“If they’ve had any contact with him or they’ve seen him, people should call my office,” Sheriff Steven White told the Deseret News, adding that his office was “deeming it suspicious, but there’s nothing to indicate anything one way or another. The vehicle was just abandoned.”
