Modern Family actress Ariel Winter has fans wondering if she’s broken up with longtime boyfriend, Laurent Claude Gaudette — and if so, there are a lot of very happy people right now.

Winter posted a cryptic message via Instagram on Monday, along with the “all the single ladies” line from Beyoncé’s famous song “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).” She captioned the post with, “Start of a new week, start of a new chapter #dancinglikebeyoncemood.”
The post certainly suggests that Winter is now single, and fans have reacted to the news.
“Is she single now or something????” michaelah_v asked.

“About time! No offense of course, but you deserve much much more than a pretty guy. He seemed selfish. You do you girl. A man should love and respect his woman, and visa versa [sic],” brismith222 shared.
Vaughnsam10 had less than complimentary things to say about Gaudette, writing, “Did her and that dead eyed douche break up?”
And jteam_09 shared similar sentiments, writing, “You dumped that Edward Cullen look alike [sic] that doesn’t know how to smile? You deserve the best, and I hope you find him.”
While mawikaplans was convinced that nice girls always finish last. They wrote, “She was waaaaay too in love with him. It wasn’t gonna work. Guys don’t like nice girls that love them. That is a fact.”

If Winter is single, she appears to have a very positive outlook following her split (as evident by her caption).
Winter also followed up with another post, this one of herself looking stunning in a fitted black dress.
She captioned the picture with wise words, writing, “Love doesn’t die, it simply evolves. We grow up, we realize what we truly want. I’m excited for this new chapter in my love life- love is all around.. Family, friends, pizza… The old and the new.”
Yep, certainly sounds single to us.
While we don’t know what happened between Winter and Gaudette, we’re pleased to see that she is happy.
