Richards will be back on reality TV in a big way, and it is totally separate from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
A source confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that Richards and her daughter Kimberly Jackson will appear on the new show together, which is said to be a personal look at mothers and daughters who have faced public struggles in their relationships and are seeking counseling.
It is unknown as of yet if the show will feature actual counseling sessions, but those, and the aftermath of what is revealed in those sessions, is usually what makes up the juiciest parts of counseling-type reality TV shows like Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars and Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.

Former star of The Hills, Heidi Montag and her mother are also said to be joining the cast.
Richards was arrested in April at the Beverly Hills Hotel and later charged with one count of public intoxication, one count of resisting, obstructing, delaying a peace officer or EMT, and one count of battery on a police officer.
“Kim went to rehab finally because she got arrested, she humiliated her kids and she wants to avoid jail,” a source told People.
“If the arrest hadn’t happened she wouldn’t be going to rehab; it would be business as usual. She’s in denial that she has a problem.”

Richards, who is in recovery for drug and alcohol addiction, further damaged her relationship with her children when she fell off the wagon at her daughter Brooke Brinson’s wedding last June.
“I was stressed and everybody was looking at me… the bride and groom and the mom who just got out of treatment,” she admitted at the premiere of Sharknado 3.
“I was super stressed out and I looked on the ground and there were two little margaritas and I think I drank one. I am not even sure. That mixture of [treatment center prescribed medication] (sic) so that is why I probably drank.”
Richards re-entered rehab after the wedding, where she stayed instead of attending niece Nicky Hilton’s wedding in London later that summer.
