“We can end gun violence.”

That’s the powerful message that’s being spread by Vergara, Aniston, other celebs, the public and even Obama in a new public service announcement.

The star-studded PSA features celebs and regular citizens on YouTube videos saying parts of the phrase, “We can end gun violence.” It also featured Obama telling the camera, “When we come together, Americans can do anything.”

More than a dozen celebs make appearances in the video, including Amy Schumer, Julianne Moore, Sarah Silverman, Kevin Bacon, Michael J. Fox, Debra Messing, Adam Scott and others.

The video, produced by Everytown for Gun Safety, also encourages viewers to record their own videos to add on to the PSA, already 90 seconds long. It’s a bid to unite as many voices as possible to change the way gun violence is treated in the United States.

The timing of the PSA couldn’t be more important — it comes right on the heels of two major mass shootings: one at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs, Colorado, that killed three people and wounded nine others, and one in San Bernardino, California, in which 14 people were killed and 21 others injured.

This is far from the first time celebrities have joined the public fight for stricter gun control. Just months ago, another PSA sought to end school shootings, featuring appearances by Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, John Legend, Ellen DeGeneres and others.
