Mob Wives star Big Ang reveals she isn’t completely cancer-free

Mob Wives‘ Angela Raiola, aka Big Ang, has announced that she is once again battling cancer.

Page Six reports that Raiola learned during a routine checkup that her cancer has spread to new areas of her body.

In April, Raiola had her left lymph nodes and a lemon-sized tumor removed from her throat. A few months later, she was back in surgery, this time for the right side of her throat.

Although she’s quit smoking since the diagnosis, Raiola shares that she was a smoker for 40 years. After her surgery in April, she opened up to fans with a positive message. “Big Ang isn’t going anywhere! This is a minor setback… Always look after yourselves and don’t neglect your health. I’m fortunate and blessed to have discovered something very early and handle it in a positive manner.”

Big Ang’s sister Janine Detore shared some words of support for her sister on Instagram. “Well our sister tree has been shakin again I’m not going into detail bc some of our family member don’t know yet our sister Bigg Ang has gotten bad news yesterday and we are all devasted we are all grateful for your prayers & thoughts she has a long round ahead of her and we will fight this fight as no one fights along and she’ll never do it alone I won’t allow it thank you so much and I will keep you updated.” [sic]
