Kanye West steps in after Kris Jenner fires her entire security team

Kanye West and Kris Jenner don’t take any chances when it comes to security.

After a break-in on Tuesday, TMZ reports that Jenner has fired all of her security staff.

A man was arrested on Tuesday for walking into the Kardashian-Jenner home. According to TMZ, the man took a bus from Texas to attempt a break-in at the home — and succeeded with a simple lie. He told security that he had a “meeting with Kris” and was part of a crew “working on Christmas decorations” at the house. Despite 24-hour surveillance and a fleet of security, he was able to get face-to-face with Jenner in her office, who immediately realized he was an intruder and called 911. Kim Kardashian and her newborn son Saint West were also in the home at the time.

While Jenner looks to put a new security system in place, West’s team has taken over. His staff reportedly consists of off-duty police officers, who hopefully know enough to check the ID of anyone entering the premises.

This isn’t the first time the Kardashian-Jenner clan has had to deal with unwelcome intruders. In 2014, Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s home was robbed of a reported $250,000 worth of jewelry. In that case, security wasn’t the issue. There were no signs of a break-in, so the thief was suspected to be someone with access to the home. With all the cameras the Kardashians have around, you would imagine they wouldn’t have to deal with security issues.
