Tina Fey & Amy Poehler’s ‘Dope Squad’ with Amy Schumer slays on SNL (VIDEO)

Christmas certainly came early on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live with hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. It was arguably the best episode of the season — but is anyone really surprised by that?

From performing a completely original Christmas song in their opening monologue, to their genius Sarah Palin/Hillary Clinton skit and their hilarious Dope Squad (where we were blessed with an Amy Schumer cameo), pretty sure everyone is currently nursing a Tina Fey/Amy Poehler hangover.

Not only that, but the episode was chock full of surprises: from Paul McCartney showing up during Bruce Springsteen’s set (alongside Fey and Poehler) during “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town”)…

… to Maya Rudolph’s cameo during a brand-new Bronx Beat skit (oh. my. god.), and Fey and Poehler returning to the Weekend Update desk to tell the two last jokes (from the desk) of 2015.

The only horrible part about this episode of SNL? There’s absolutely no way to pick the best skit. So here are Fey and Poehler’s best moments, ranked:

5. The Christmas Monologue

They looked fantastic, right?

4. Weekend Update heaven

Yes, we were fully expecting to see Fey and Poehler back at the Weekend Update desk, and yes, it was magical. But, let’s be honest, this was the true Weekend Update dream team.

3. Bronx Beat

Rudolph not only appeared in this skit, but it was also a complete surprise to most viewers. This Bronx Beat skit took us back, and fans loved the flashback.

2. 2008 Hillary Clinton meets 2015 Hillary Clinton

Poehler and Kate McKinnon in the same skit? Genius. And Fey’s appearance as Sarah Palin was the cherry on top.

1. Dope Squad

This one, by far, was a fan favorite. Fey, Poehler and Aidy Bryant got real about the women in their lives who deserve a spot in their girl squad: their gyno, the guy who returned their purse and Amy Schumer. If you haven’t watched it yet, please do yourself a favor and click play. Poehler said it best in the video: “Our squad is a veritable who’s who.”
