Teen Mom‘s Jenelle Evans had a great weekend, and she’s about to have an even better year.
She celebrated her 24th birthday with boyfriend David Eason and friends at the Empire Hotel rooftop in New York City. According to Us Weekly, Evans revealed big plans for 2016. “I’m looking forward to hopefully buying a house and having a bigger house for my family. I want to go back to school to become a surgical technician, so I’m going to try doing that in January,” she told Us. But all that begins next year — for now, she’s celebrating.
Evans started her 24th year off right with a red carpet, a Tiffany-inspired cake and a New Year’s Eve-ready gold sequined dress. She was only too happy to brag about how good she looked on her big night, retweeting a photo of herself with the compliment “beautiful girl.” Get it where you can, girl!

Despite fans’ initial wariness about the couple, Evans and Eason seem happier than ever — he evens ignores his cell phone when he’s with her.
As fans recall, Evans is no stranger to arrest herself, and perhaps she’s met her match in her new beau. Eason was arrested in 2013 for driving while intoxicated, has failed to appear in court and has probation violations. Evans seems to be looking great and ready for 2016. Fingers crossed that she keeps those New Year’s resolutions.
