Teresa Giudice is returning home from prison just in time for the holidays, and she couldn’t be happier about it.
As People reports, Giudice was all smiles as she drove away from the Federal Correctional Institute in Danbury, Connecticut, where she’s spent the past 11 months. She was released at 5:01 this morning.
Of course, Giudice couldn’t ride home in #nomakeup like any old ex-convict. A source revealed to People that she gave herself a bathroom makeover before facing the cameras outside the prison building and heading home to New Jersey.

“She took a little while to come out, so it looked like she took some time to get herself together,” the source said. Despite her official release at 5:01 a.m., it took her until 5:30 a.m. to leave the building.

Giudice, who was jailed on fraud, tax evasion and bankruptcy charges, came home to an expensive surprise from husband and other daughters Gabriella, Milania and Audriana — a brand-new Lexus. People‘s source stated that the girls “could hardly sleep last night because they were so excited that their mom was coming home.” Joe was even waiting for her in the driveway. Her daughter, Gia, for one, is certainly all smiles about her mother’s return.

It’s unconfirmed whether the Giudice family will return to the next season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but we can all hope that this sweet (and drama-filled) family holiday moment was captured on tape.
