Amy Duggar’s husband outs the Duggar family for ignoring Josh Duggar scandal

Is the Duggar family’s attempt at reconciliation and forgiveness all just a front?

As Duggar fans who have been watching Jill & Jessa: Counting On know, the family seems to be working to process the accusations against their eldest son Josh. A quick primer: Earlier this year, Josh was revealed to have molested underage women, including his own siblings, and admitted to having affairs using the website Ashley Madison. He has checked himself into a rehab facility for a pornography addiction.

But according to Dillon King, the husband of Josh’s cousin Amy, the Duggar family refuses to discuss Josh unless it’s on camera. As IBTimes reports via InTouch Weekly, King has spoken out about Josh multiple times. “Every time you ask them how they’re doing, they’re all ‘doing great.’ I don’t understand it.”

King is especially worried that the clan is “using” Josh’s wife Anna for ratings. On the latest episode of Jill & Jessa: Counting On, Anna opened up about her emotional reaction to Josh’s lies and her hope for their marriage. “In my heart, when I got married, I vowed to God first and then to Joshua, ‘For better or for worse. ‘Til death do we part,’” she said. “I pray that through all of this that I would be an extension of God’s love to Joshua, that I would love him and forgive him and wait patiently and allow God to work through our hearts.” According to King, if the cameras weren’t rolling, Anna may feel differently — or may not say anything at all.
