Yolanda Foster responds to Lisa Rinna’s ugly accusations

Yolanda Foster has some stern words for her Real Housewives co-stars who are doubting her health woes.

After a conversation between Lisa Rinna, Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump was shown on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in which the women cattily debated the veracity of Foster’s claims of having debilitating Lyme disease — including an accusation by Rinna that Foster may actually suffer from Munchausen syndrome — Foster fired back hard.

Pretty much straight-up calling Rinna uncaring and spiteful, she spoke about the comments on her Bravo blog today in unwavering terms.

“She’s only human and it takes a compassionate and confident woman to hold ground under social pressure — it’s so much easier to take the common road and get on board the train of the misinformed and the doubtful. The negative,” Foster wrote. “Few people have the ability to stay firm when they’re not educated or spiritually centered and not feed into the negativity otherwise known as gossip. I don’t blame Rinna, Kyle or LVDP — I understand it and feel sorry to see my battle be such a point of weakness for them. If I let fear of what others say about me creep into my mind, I probably would not be where I am today.

“I am inspired by my life on a day-to-day basis and consciously avoid stressful situations by walking away and letting go of remarks from people like the women in this group, but it seems in today’s world your word isn’t good enough anymore so even though I should not have to prove my case, I’m not afraid to do so,” Foster continued. “I will move on from the absurd Munchausen comment that is an insult to my integrity and that of my two children who battle this disease on a daily basis.”

Then she really dropped the hammer.

“My talents and creativity as a healthy human being when starting my journey as a [H]ousewife would have gotten me way further in life then [sic] lying in bed, debilitated, forced to find a cure for this lame disease as I watched life from the side lines [sic] these past four years… I’m probably the only Housewife in the entire franchise that uses this platform to bring awareness in the world rather than just [put] money in my pocket.”

Rinna addressed the scene on her own Bravo blog, and for her part, she did at least seem sorry for the accusation.

I am no doctor and I don’t claim to be a doctor, nor do I want to give anyone a diagnosis,” Rinna wrote. “The word Munchausen was brought to me by my friend that these girls do not personally know, and I felt this was a safe place to bring it up. There I said it. I did. I own it.

“I don’t feel good about it and I was very upset that I engaged in these conversations with others that are as naive as I am about Lyme [d]isease, but I did and I shared it with these women. I now know I need to tell Yolanda, as Eileen said, you need to talk to Yolanda about it, and I believe that to be true,” she continued.

It remains to be seen if or when those peace talks will actually happen.
